Dr Faheem Afzal has studied medicine at the King Edward Medical University, Pakistan and has worked in Australia in 2011. He has extensive experience in General Practice, Emergency medicine, Anaesthesia and Intensive care and continues to develop his skills and knowledge in these areas.

He works as senior registrar and team lead in a busy Emergency department. He also has varied experience having previously worked in rural general practice in various locations in WA.

Dr Afzal believes in providing a holistic care with his patients and likes to allow for and provide sufficient time for patients to express their concerns. His special interests include chronic disease management, care plan preparations and is proficient in minor surgery, skin biopsies and corticosteroid joint and soft tissue injections. He has an interest in medical education and is currently also a qualified Advanced Life Support Instructor.

Dr Afzal offers bulk billing for children under 16, pensioners and veteran’s affairs patients and generous discount for Healthcare Card Holders Monday to Friday.
