Graduating from the University of WA in 1985 I completed my intern and resident years at Royal Perth Hospital, King Edward Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. Before making a decision to specialize in general practice I worked in the UK in various medical hospital rotations and completed gynaecological and obstetric rotations in Cambridgeshire whilst I was studying for my Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology .
Having been in general practice for more than 25 years in Woodvale I have good breadth of knowledge in all aspects of patient care with an interest in women’s health , chronic care management and preventative health . Over the years I have been involved and had the privilege as the practice principal in the teaching and supervision of GP registrars .
I have two young adult boys who still live at home. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking, cooking, enjoying good food and photography is one of my passions.
