Dr Chantelle Belladonna

Dr. Chantelle Belladonna, originally from Perth, completed her medical studies at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle, graduating in 2009. Her post-graduate journey began with an internship followed by an 18-month residency at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. This was succeeded by six months each at Princess Margaret Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital.

In 2013, Dr. Belladonna commenced her general practice training, achieving fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015.

Dr. Belladonna is passionate about all aspects of general practice, focusing particularly on postnatal health and breastfeeding medicine. She is accredited in the Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) approach, which provides holistic support for common early childhood challenges, such as breastfeeding difficulties, sleep disturbances, and infant cry-fuss problems. Her professional interests also include women’s health and family planning, with skills in the insertion and removal of implanon. Dr. Belladonna places a strong emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and mental health. Since 2015, she has been supervising GP registrars, actively contributing to the training and development of future medical practitioners.
