All Western Australians will have the opportunity to receive a free flu vaccination during the month of June.
WA has done a fantastic job throughout the pandemic and, with winter approaching, everyone is encouraged to get vaccinated for the flu and stay up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations.
To get your free flu vaccination, simply walk in to any state-run COVID-19 vaccination clinic or book in at participating pharmacies and GPs.
People aged under 5 years, people aged over 65 years, pregnant women, individuals at higher risk of complications from influenza, and Aboriginal people aged six months and older are currently eligible for a free flu vaccination under the National Immunisation Program.
Please note, state-run clinics do not offer flu vaccinations for children under 5 years. Children under 5 years can instead access a free flu vaccine under the National Immunisation Program.
To stay safe over winter, continue to practise good hygiene habits, wear a mask as necessary, and if you are unwell, stay home.
